I decided to do something a little different for our anniversary update. Instead of my classic infographic style like I have done in the past, I decided to do a a paper cut update.
Here was the plan:
After swapping the thinner font for a thicker font, this is what the design looked like all cut up.
I cannot believe my husband and I have been married for 4 years! Some days it feels like a lifetime has passed since we got married, but most days it feels like it happened in the blink of an eye.
We have had quite an adventure. I think the biggest change we have gone through this past year is adjusting to the fact that we are parents. We’re still trying to figure out the right work and home life balance, but I’m giving ourselves the next 18+ years to get our groove right.
B also graduated from PT school and is now bringing home a paycheck. WINNING! While he did all the work, I like to take some of the credit since I was there every step of the way. Although I’m sure sometimes it felt like I was just IN the way. Trying to go to school and work on a marriage with someone who lives 1,300 miles away was difficult. I give mad props to my husband, who managed to put school and his marriage first. Even when it wasn’t alway easy. But we’re here. We made it.
I am beyond grateful that everyday, no matter what trials we face, we face them together: the good, the bad, the awkward, the unfortunate, the joyful, the exciting. Everyday, I choose my husband- to love, to forgive, to work with, to grow with.
