I’m Alana Joy!
I’m a Kansas girl who recently returned home from the BIG city to start my new adventure as a work-at-home mom. I have three awesome kiddos to keep my hands and heart very full.
This website is my creative outlet. I very much enjoy helping my friends and family with parties, projects, and photography… These are the chronicles of Alana.
+ My background is in political advocacy and crisis communications. I’ve been doing graphic design since my junior year of college.
+ I married to my college sweetheart while we were a long-distance couple—and we just celebrated our seventh wedding anniversary. (This year means we officially have been together longer than we have been apart.)
+I love non-fiction books. May I recommend Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand. The Autobiography of Will Rogers edited by Donald Day, or Escape From Davao: The Forgotten Story of the Most Daring Prison Break of the Pacific War by John D. Lukacs. You’re welcome.
+I try not to take myself too seriously—I love laughing at myself because life is too short…. You have to enjoy every moment.
